For my birthday, I got a Kodak EasyShare C340. It isn't the most sophisticated of cameras, but I think it's enough to take some decent photos with. During Thanksgiving, my family went up to Ohio, giving me the ideal chance to take some shots and see how the photos turned out. This is my first time really taking photos like this, and my first time trying hard to get them to look great, and focusing on the rules of photography (like the rule of thirds).

Because of this, I'd love to hear any compliments or critique you all can offer me. The only way I can improve is by knowing the mistakes I made, and I'd generally love to hear what you all have to say so I can keep them in mind. For the pictures I took, I brought them into The Gimp, normalized them, cropped them, and increased the saturation and/or contrast on some. These are all works of me completely smile.gif

Kodak EasyShare C340 is a great camera, and your photos are also great.
